Templi de Niger Sol (Temple of the Black Sun) is an independent, Kabbalistic-Thelemic Lodge in Atlanta Georgia. We offer classes in practical magickal and mystical techniques, which then lead into the working of the "Black Sun" system.

The Black Sun is a mentored, self initiatory system, consisting of several daily or weekly practices as well as a Eucharistic Mass. It uses classic Kabbalistic and magickal symbols in an original, reformulated way, allowing the practitioner to harmonize energies of creation and destruction, thereby tapping into the great rhythm of Being. As above, so below.

There are three levels of initiation: The Traveler, Magician/Adept, and Master/Teacher of the Black Sun. Templi de Niger Sol is neither right nor left-handed; The Black Sun system is compatible with any individual spiritual/metaphysical path. We encourage aspirants to follow their own Wills, and to adapt the system to their own practices.

We seek feedback, new vocabulary and new ideas so that we may grow and learn, as well as teach and share. We are committed to open exploration, scientific illuminism and non-hierarchical fraternity. And we work with many other independent Bodies and individuals in Free Illuminism.

The 11-ray Black Sun represents many things. It is the ABRAHADABRA, it is the manifestation of Ra Hoor-Khuit, it is the sphere of Daath embodied and resurrected.

Your facilitators are Tau Saga, Tau Eosphoros and Tau AHA- long time practitioners with diverse backgrounds including Ceremonial Magick, Kabballah, Thelema, Meditation, Shamanic Journeying, Buddhism, Martial Arts and Comparative Mythology and Religion. We invite you to journey with us.

Thomas Karlsson, Ph.D. will lead an Alchemical Initiatory Journey into the Existential and Spiritual Underworld in search of the Inner Spiritual Spark residing in its depths.

We work with a non-dogmatic, comparative magical tradition with elements from different systems such as the Qabalah, Nordic-Gothic Magic and Left-Hand Tantrism.

This evening we will explore the tunnels of the Qliphoth and work with Typhonian Alchemy and Goetic invocations, where we summon initiatory entities like Lilith and Lucifer.

Thomas Karlsson is the founder of Dragon Rouge. He teaches Western Esotericism at Stockholm University, Sweden, and is the author of Qabalah, Qliphoth and Goetic Magic, Adulruna and the Gothic Cabala and Uthark - Nightside of the Runes.
